2.0 Control Panel. Editing a Company. Timings
In this tab, the basic parameters of delivery are set. These parameters allow you to set the standard time of issuing orders at the company level and the format of their receiving time (slots or exact time), which allows you to increase the time frame of order delivery in planned logistics.
Open the Companies section of the Control Panel.
Click on the edit icon opposite the desired company.
Go to the Timings tab.
Set the necessary settings in the corresponding fields (see below).
Click Save.
Standard time of order issue.
- On - taken from city settings.
- Off - manually set.
If the toggle is not active, an additional field appears.
Standard time of order issue.
Minimum time after which the company can issue an order. This parameter depends on the list of delivery hours, which is displayed in the company's app (Dots Business) when the order is accepted. It is specified in minutes.
Important! If the "Minimum order dispatch time" field at the city level is set to a higher value, the current setting is not taken into account. If that setting at the city level is set to a smaller value, the current company setting is the primary one.
Do not accept orders for today.
On - the possibility of ordering for the current day is disabled, regardless of the company's work schedule. The "as soon as possible" option becomes unavailable. A pop-up message with a warning about the possibility of pre-ordering is not displayed when placing an order.
Off - disables the option to select all available delivery time options, depending on the company's schedule. When placing an order, a pop-up message is displayed with a warning about the possibility of pre-ordering.
If the toggle is active, additional fields appear.
Do not accept orders start time. The time from which the user will not be able to place an order for today.
Automatic passing of statuses. If the checkbox is On - order statuses will change automatically upon reaching the scheduled time for each of them.
Order in "as soon as possible" mode.
On - Customers can place orders in the "as soon as possible" mode on the website and in mobile apps.
Off - Placement of orders on the website and in mobile apps in the "as soon as possible" mode is unavailable. Customers can place orders at the specified time by selecting an available option from the list.
Order for a specific time.
There are two options to choose from:
Exact time - The time of receiving the order is specified exactly in the list of options. Example: 18:00, 19:00, etc.
Slots - The time of receiving the order according to the list of options is specified in the format of a slot. Example: from 18:00 to 19:00, from 19:00 to 20:00, etc.
When selecting the Exact time option, it is enough to fill in the Interval between delivery time options field, in which the interval between the time options for receiving the order is selected from the drop-down list. For example, if the interval is set to 20 min, then the options for issuing orders for the exact time will be as follows: 11:00, 11:20, 11:40, etc., and for slots as follows: from 11:00 to 11:20, with 11:20 to 11:40 etc.
When selecting the Slots option, additional fields appear for configuring and generating time slots.
Start time of the first slot. The time from which the first slot will start. We recommend that the start time is not earlier than one hour before the opening of the company plus the minimum time for order fulfillment. For example, if the company opens at 11 a.m. and the minimum order fulfillment time is 30 minutes, then the first recommended slot should be at 11:30 a.m.
End time of the last slot. Time by which the last slot should end.
Click the Reset Slots button and the delivery time options will be generated below.
It is also possible to change the settings if the slots indicated above are incorrect and Reset again, thereby regenerating them.
Note: If a specific slot needs to be corrected - you can click on the edit button next to it, delete a slot by clicking on the cross, or add your own additional option by clicking on the plus button.
