A group of modifiers is a combination of possible product parameters based on the principle of similarity. A product or categories of products may have one or several groups of modifiers, according to which the customer has the opportunity to choose the desired characteristics of the product at his own discretion.


Setting up



Open the Settings section of the Control Panel.
Click on the edit icon opposite the desired company.
Open the tab Catalog => Modifier Groups.
Click the edit icon opposite the desired modifier group or the Create button.
Enter the required information in the appropriate fields (see below).
Click Save.



Displayed items



Name. The name of the group of modifiers in all elements of the system can carry internal information for use by personnel.

Title. The name of the group of modifiers, which is displayed in the client program and on the website to service users.

Status. The current status of the Modifier Group.

Type. The parameter that depends on the ability of the client to choose several modifiers of the same Group.
Monoselect - the value of this field, in which the client can choose only from the modifiers of this group. If it is necessary to give the client the opportunity to select several or all modifiers in this Group, specify the value of Multiselect.

When you select Multi-select, an additional field Maximum number to select appears. The maximum possible number of modifiers for the customer's choice within one product. Enter a value from 1 to set the limit, or leave the field blank to apply an unlimited number of modifiers.

Modifier type. In this item, the value option depends on the POS being used. A simple modifier type is used to integrate with POS iiko(Syrve), Servio, r-keeper, Rarus. In the case of using the Poster POS system, for the correct unloading of group modifiers, the type of modifier Complex is specified.

Priority. The numerical value of the priority, which affects the place of the group of modifiers in the list of the Control Panel and the client part of the service. The higher the value, the higher the position on the list. When you double-click, you will be able to set a new value.

Expanded list - the list of modifiers, in the product card, will be displayed in an expanded form
Collapsed list - the list of modifiers, in the product card, will be displayed in a collapsed form

Displaying modifiers. Provides ways to display modifiers.
List - Modifiers will be displayed as a list, one below the other, without an image.
Cards - modifiers will be displayed as cards with images.

Importantly! When choosing a way to display Card modifiers, you need to add an image in the settings of each of the modifiers in this group.

The number of modifiers in the preview. Enter a numerical value from 1, which will determine how many modifiers from the group must be displayed in the list. The rest of the modifiers from the group will be hidden in the list by the "Show more" button. Leave the field blank if you want to display the entire list of modifiers from the group.

Maximum number to select. The maximum possible number of modifiers for the customer's choice within one product. This setting limits the number of modifiers for the user to select when forming an item to add to cart.
Enter a value from 1 to set the limit, or leave the field blank to apply an unlimited number of modifiers.

Example display





Choice of modifiers. In the block on the right, you need to select the desired product modifiers that belong to this group. Also, in the settings of the group of modifiers, it is possible to choose the modifier of the group by default, that is, when opening the product map, the selected modifiers will be displayed as selected.

Note: If the user removes one of the modifiers, which has its own price, the price will be recalculated without taking into account the removed one.
