This feature solves the problem of distributing user orders between all company locations in a city. This allows you to flexibly set up delivery zones for each of the company locations and work only in certain areas of the city.

The zoning feature allows your mobile customers to see only available companies (locations) depending on the location of a particular user.



Important: Zoning currently only works for mobile app customers.

To set up the feature:

In the Control Panel, click Settings.
Go to the Interfaces tab.
Select the Zoning functionality tab and and turn on Zoning functionality.
In the Ask for the customer's address field, check/uncheck the box:
On - The delivery address map screen will necessarily be shown to users with an unknown address, before showing the availability of the menu to order.
Off - The map screen will not be displayed to users with an undefined address until they reach the checkout screen.
The settings concern only the display of the zoning functionality on the website.
Click Save.



When zoning is enabled, the customer will only see available companies (company locations) or company products (in the case of a mono-brand).



If the customer's address is not in the delivery area of the company locations, but in the city's delivery area, then a corresponding notification will appear on the screen.




If the customer's address is not in the delivery area of the city, then a corresponding notification will appear to a customer.




If the user has selected the desired city, but the system was unable to determine their coordinates, or if the user has denied access to the location, then standard delivery will be unavailable.



Note: If the Use the city delivery area option is enabled for the company location delivery area, then its delivery area will be identical to the city's delivery area.
