2.0 Control panel. Settings. Cashback. General

This tab activates and configures the basic parameters of the loyalty program in the form of cashback. Cashback applies only to the cost of the order and does not apply to shipping costs.

Setting up the fields

Open the Settings section in the Control Panel.
Go to the Cashback tab => General.
Enter the required information in the appropriate fields (see below).
Click Save.

Field requirements:

Cashback functionality is available. Responsible for enabling or disabling the accrual and the possibility of paying with cashback.
The checkbox is active. When placing an order on the website or in the mobile application, users of the service will be credited with cashback. Cashback can be used as a payment method when placing an order in a mobile application.

Note: The user ID is their phone number.

Fields for specifying the % of cashback. The percentage of the order amount that will be transferred to the client's bonus account, depends on the type of order. The default values are 0.

The following fields are available:
% cashback on delivery
% cashback on pickup
% cashback on booking
% cashback when delivered to the room
% cashback when delivered to the table
% cashback on postal delivery

Webhooks URL. For the cashback to work correctly, this field must be empty.

The next three fields are responsible for setting up the cashback expiration functionality, so you can motivate users to place an order. We recommend sending a push notification to users about the available cashback and the expiration date, conditionally in a month, thanks to the "Cashback expire warn in" setting, the customer will automatically receive a push reminder to use the points, for example, in two weeks, otherwise they will expire.

It is important to note that if, according to your settings, cashback is credited only for Pickup, and during the cashback expiration period, the user placed an order for Delivery, then the cashback expires, since no points were credited for this order.

Tip: we recommend that you start setting up these three fields from the Period field, since it is the unit of measurement for the expiration and warning periods.

Cashback expiry date. How many units of Period will the cashback expire if the user does not complete the order. Leave the field empty if the cashback will not have an expiration period.

Cashback expire warn in. How many units of Period before the cashback balance expiration date should the user be Push notified about the cashback burn-up. Enter the days (for example) separated by commas if the notification has to be sent multiple times.

Period. Select the unit of time, according to which the cashback expiration date is determined and the client is warned about the expiration.

If the cashback has a set expiration time, you can see the expiration timer on the website and in the app in the Cashback tab.
