How is the delivery time calculated for orders placed on As soon as possible?

When each new order arrives on As soon as possible, the system calculates the distance between the restaurant and the client, by road or walking routes (depending on the type of courier) and determines the time it takes to deliver the order.

The system then multiplies this time by the Additional Time Coefficient and adds Max. courier delay time (because we assume that the courier may be delayed in the restaurant).

Example:

Additional Time Coefficient = 1.2.

Max. courier delay time = 5.

Delivery time calculated by the system = 10 min.

Pickup time at the restaurant: 12:17.

Order delivery time, which the system determines for the courier =

12:17 + 10 min. * 1.2 + 5 = 12:17 + 17 min. = 12:34.

When ordering ""As soon as possible"", the delivery time for the client will always be 5 minutes longer than indicated in the Monitoring Panel. This margin allows you to avoid negativity on the part of the client, while the courier does not know about the additional time reserve and therefore will focus on the earlier delivery.

Accordingly, in the example above, the client will expect an order at 12:39.
