You can configure the form for granting the right to use cookies, as well as permission to use the client's personal data.
In the Control Panel, click Settings.
Click the Interfaces => Privacy Policy tab.
In the Cookie notification message and Method of obtaining permission fields, select the desired options (more details below).
Click Save.
Cookies notification message. Pop-up notice that users see the first time they visit your website. Available options:
Disabled. Cookies notification doesn’t appear. The client can use the website without giving permission for the use of cookies.
Banner. Cookies notification appears on the website until the user clicks Accept. Customers can use the website, but are unable to place an order.
Required confirmation. Confirmation is mandatory. Customers cannot use the website without confirmation.
Method of obtaining permission. Lets you choose how customers give permission to use their personal information. This setting also affects the type of request in the Dots Business app . Available options:
Basic. When placing an order, customers will be informed that your website uses cookies. The notice will include a link to the user agreement
Necessary checkbox. The customer must give permission to process data by selecting a checkbox.
Three permissions at a checkout. The user must confirm each permission by selecting checkboxes. Only the first two permissions are required for confirmation. Permission to use the data for marketing purposes is optional.
