2.0 Control Panel. Editing a Company. Packaging
This section allows you to set up paid or free outer packaging for orders. The selected type of packaging will be used for all orders of the company, regardless of the type of goods and meals.
Select the Companies section in the Control Panel.
Click on the edit icon opposite the desired company.
Go to the Packaging tab.
Set the appropriate settings.
Click Save.
Customer pays for the package. When the checkbox is activated, the cost of packaging, which is selected in the settings of the "Packaging" field, will be added to the customer's order.
Packaging. Allows you to set up paid or free outer packaging for orders.
- Free. The cost of outer packaging is not taken into account when placing an order. Packaging fees will only apply if packaging is tied to a product or category. It’s a default option.
- A specific type of packaging. The cost of outer packaging will be added to the total cost of the order. Adding and configuring external packaging takes place in Companies > pick a Company > Catalog > Packaging tab.
Max. number of boxes in the package. Indicates the maximum number of inner packages (pizza boxes, containers, breakfast boxes, etc.) that can fit in one outer package (bag, box, etc.). Has to be specified in units.
For example, if an outer package can fit 3 pizza boxes, you must enter 3 in this field.
