2.0 Control panel. Settings. Integrations. Mail Service
Before getting started, it is important to set an email address for system notification and reports.
To set up the email address:
- In the Control Panel, click Settings.
- Go to the Integrations tab.
- In the list of integrations, find Mail Service and click the pencil icon.
- In the Email for system mailings field, add or change the desired email address.
- Click Save.
Add an email address in the “name@dotsplatform.com” format.
Important: Instead of a personal one, it is recommended to use a business email address with limited access for certain number of people. This allows you to avoid losing important information when changing the service manager.
Note: Use the basic gateway setting means using the Dots Platform email gateway for sending messages. This function is active by default and does not require modification.
