2.0 Control Panel. Cities. Marketing. City promotions. Discounts
This type of promotion allows you to set a certain percentage of discount that can be applied to the order price when using a promo code. This promotion can be applied to all orders in the city, regardless of company or location.
In the Control Panel, click Marketing.
Click the City promotions → Discounts tab.
Click Create.
Add the required information (more details below).
Click Save.
General tab.
City. Select from the drop-down list.
Type of application. The only available option for promotions at the city level — Promo code .
Status. Current status of the promotion.
Hidden. Discount can be applied by using a promo code. More on how to create promo codes.
Inactive. Turns off the promotion.
Name in the Control Panel. Appears only in the Control Panel and helps to identify the promotion.
Example
10% off on all orders
Valid until. Set the end date of the promotion. If the promotion is not limited in time, set 0.
Priority. Set the priority of the promotion, which will determine its place in the list of all promotions. The higher the value, the higher the place in the list.
Discount type. If the discount type is Amount, enter the value of the discount amount in the Discount field; if the discount type is Percentage, enter the desired percentage.
Affects the price of the modifier. The discount of the promotion will affect not only the base price of the product, but also the price of each modifier that can be applied to this product.
Affects the packaging price. The promotion discount will also affect the product packaging price.
Combines with other discounts. The promotion discount will be combined with other promotions discounts, which also have an active combined setting.
Orders Workflow tab.
Minimum amount of order. Minimum amount of order (without account of delivery price), at which the promotion is activated.
Only for the first order.
Active. The certificate will be applied only to the customer's first order.
Order Type. Select the order type on which the promotion will be available.
Order receiving type. Select the order receiving type in which this promotion will be valid. For other order types promotion will not be valid.
Work Time tab.
Schedule for taking orders. Select the days of the week and the time when the gift voucher will be valid. If there are no restrictions, select the Promotion is valid any day at any time checkbox.
Standard time - The schedule for taking orders activates the company every day.
Specific - An individual schedule allows you to more flexible adjust the activity of the company for each day of the week.
Important:** City promotions can only be applied by using a promo code. To create a promo code, in the Control Panel, select the Marketing tab in the navigation menu and go to Promo codes > Create a promo code.
