The broadcast mode allows couriers to take unassigned delivery orders.

In addition, couriers can be assigned to specific locations by selecting the corresponding filter in the Dots Delivery app

To enable the broadcast mode:

In the Control Panel, click Settings.
Locate the city you need and click the pencil icon.
Click the Delivery → Ether tab.
Turn on the switch in the Broadcast mode field.
Fill in the Delivery delay (green) and Delivery delay (red) fields (more details below).
Click Save.

Setup requirements:

Delivery delay (green), min. Time until the order is ready, until which the order point marker on the map will be green. If the current time exceeds the value but is less than the value in the Delivery delay (red) field, then the color of the order marker will be yellow.

Delivery delay (red), min. Delay time value in minutes, after which the color of the order icon on the map becomes red.

Example
Delivery delay (green): -10
Delivery delay (red): 0
Estimated pickup time: 5:00 PM
Until 4:50 PM, the order icon will be green. Between 4:50 PM and 5:00 PM, the order icon will be yellow. After 5:00 PM, the order icon will become red.

After enabling the broadcast mode, it will appear in the courier’s app.

In order to choose the company locations, the courier needs to tap on the filter icon.

Important: Select manual distribution of orders for cases when couriers must take orders themselves in the broadcast mode.

Important: By default, all orders in broadcast mode:
Don’t merge with other orders automatically.
Assign to the courier who took it.
