This functionality allows you to add a new user account and grant him the appropriate rights. This allows you to restrict access to system settings for different users depending on their responsibilities.

Creating a user


Open the Users section of the Control Panel.
Select the Users tab => List of users.
Click the Create button.
Fill in all required fields.
Click Save.



Setup requirements





Phone. The user's phone number used for authorization in the client's mobile application. The customer's order history is also linked to this number. This field allows you to enter only one phone number, which is specified in an arbitrary format.

Importantly! Filling in this field is mandatory.

Email. The user's email address used for authorization in the Control Panel, Monitoring Panel, Dots Business and Dots Delivery, as well as for mailing.

Password. The user's unique password that will be used for authorization. Filled in any format.
Note: If the field remains empty when editing user settings, the password will not change.

Status. Current user status in the system. Selection options in the field:
Active. The user is active and has access to placing orders or managing the system depending on the role of the moderator. Is the default option.
Blocked. The user cannot log in to the service controls or place an order using the specified phone number.

City. The user's city from the list of all service cities. The setting changes automatically, being tied to the city of the user's last order.

User language. The default language for the user. This setting can be changed by the operator of the Monitoring Panel on the order card or at checkout by the operator on the website.

Nickname The network username used as a call sign operator, courier, etc.

Name. The username that will appear in all elements of the system, including the user's order history. Filling in this field is mandatory. Filled in any format.

Operator. Provides access to the Monitoring Panel as an operator. Such a user will be available in the list of operators in the Dashboard tab and will be able to be put on the line.
The toggle is active. Appropriate operator functions are available to the user.
The toggler is inactive. Operator mode is disabled.

Use a special SMS code
The toggle is active. Allows you to log into the user account using a special SMS code.
The toggler is inactive. It is not possible to enter the account using a special SMS code.

Permission to process and transfer personal data. The switch in the field allows you to allow the corresponding action on the part of the service. This permission is required to create a new user.
The toggle is active. A user gave permissions for the storage and processing of his/her personal data in the system, and also for the transfer of data to third parties to ensure the provision of services.
The toggler is inactive. A user refused to provide consent for the storage, processing of his/her personal data, and also the transfer to third parties. Such user cannot be saved in the system.

Daily reports.
On. - daily reports with order statistics, delays and problems are sent to the specified email address (Email field).
Off. - reports are not sent.

Subscription status. The user is subscribed to email-notifications for clients.
The switch is active (default). The user has confirmed the use of his data for marketing purposes and will receive relevant mailings.
The switch is inactive. The user refused to receive advertising materials. His data will not participate in marketing campaigns, email and push-distributions.

Access level. Allows you to select the level of user access to system elements.
User. This type of user can place an order using the service, but does not have access to manage its work. There is also a default option.
Moderator. User with access to personal account and to certain parts of the system (adjusted with setting Moderator role).

Moderator role. In the field, the selection of the role of the moderator is available depending on his duties. The corresponding roles are configured in the "User Roles" section. By default, the following options are available:
Full access
Restaurant manager
Courier delivery service
Call center operator
Marketer

Block to the right. Displayed and available for configuration only when creating a user with the Moderator access level (see examples below). This block contains the following elements:



Management in cities. Gives the moderator access to the settings of the selected city in the Management Panel, as well as to order management in the Monitoring Panel. Access to city settings determined by the assigned moderator role.
Management of delivery services. Allows you to manage the delivery services selected in the list.
Courier of own delivery service. Allows you to select an available delivery service and then associate a specific user with a callsign courier. Thus, using the user's login and password, the courier will be able to log in to the courier application.
Company manager. Allows a specific user to manage selected facilities within the rights provided by the role.
