2.0 Control Panel. Cities. Creation of a city
To create a new city:
In the Control Panel → select the Settings section → open the Cities tab → click the Create button.

In the Geo city field, select the desired city from the list.
Click Save.

After adding a city, you need to fill in all the required fields:
The General tab contains general information about the created city:
Required fields to fill in:
Hotline number. The main phone number that will be displayed in the contact block on the site and mobile app. Can be specified in any format.
Operating mode. Select from the drop-down list:
All delivery methods. All delivery methods are available according to the settings.
Takeaway only. Regardless of the settings, only takeaway is available as the delivery method.
Other fields in the "General" tab are filled in and edited as necessary in accordance with the informers to them.

System tab - almost all fields will be filled in automatically. If necessary, you need to edit them.

SEO tab. Fill in the Meta Title, Meta Description fields and the "SEO text" and "SEO text of the promotion" fields if necessary. They contain information about the service for search engine optimization of the city page in different languages. They allow you to add unique text that will increase the visibility of your website in search engines.

The Monitoring tab.
Recommended number of orders per hour for 1 location. You can set the recommended number of orders per hour for a single location. It allows you to inform your employees about the overall location workload. In case of exceeding the limit, the excess will be highlighted in red when accepting a new order in the Dots Business app.
Prepayment from the sum. The amount of the order, in excess of which the note "Prepayment" will be displayed to the operator in the Monitoring Panel, for a recommendation to agree on the prepayment of the order with a new client. It is indicated in the currency of the city.

The Orders Workflow tab. This feature allows you to enable or disable the automatic distribution of the customer orders to the pick-up point in the Monitoring Panel. For more detailed instructions on how to fill out this tab, please follow the link .
The Delivery tab contains subsections that set the main logistics indicators, tariffs, and delivery zones. You can also configure the city delivery service here.
General tab. Here you set the key logistics indicators - maximum and minimum. Instructions for filling out the form can be found here .
Delivery areas tab. In this tab, you can configure the area within which it will be possible to place orders with delivery. Also, here you choose the type of polygon that will be displayed on the main page of the website. Instructions for setting up this tab are available here .
Tariffs tab. Here you set the cost and tariff zones of delivery. Instructions for filling out the form at the link .
Order Merging, Driver Distribution, Courier Tracking and Ether tabs. These tabs are configured independently according to the Field Informers.
Delivery fleets. Here you can configure the main parameters of the delivery service, as well as the radius settings for each type of courier. If there are created services, you select the one that will receive all orders in the city first. Instructions for filling out the form can be found here .
Promotions tab. This tab displays a list of all the shares that are compensated by the city. Here you can create a new promotion at the city level. Such city promotions are exclusively hidden and can be activated only with promo codes and can be used in all establishments of this city.

Payments tab. You can set up payments at the city level - cash and online using bank cards and payment services. To activate online payments, an online payment provider is added in this tab. If necessary, fill in the fields with the details of the Account for payment for delivery services. These accounts, which will receive funds for paying for the orders themselves, are set only at the level of delivery points.

Categories tab. This tab is used to create product categories (company filters) for the city. Once created, they will be available in the corresponding list when creating product categories at the institution/company level, as well as in the company selection filter on the city page and in the mobile application.
