2.0 Control Panel. Cities. Marketing. City promotions. Certificate
A gift voucher lets customers deduct a fixed amount from the order price. The gift voucher at the city level applies to all companies in the selected city.
In the Control Panel, click Marketing.
Click the City promotions → Certificate tab.
Click Create.
Add the required information (more details below).
Click Save.
General tab.
City. Select a city.
Type of application. The only available option for promotions at the city level — Promo code .
Status. Current status of the promotion.
Hidden. Promotion can be applied by using a promo code. More on how to create promo codes.
Inactive. Turns off the promotion.
Name in the Control Panel. Appears only in the Control Panel and helps to identify the promotion.
Example
$50 gift voucher
Valid until. Set the end date of the promotion. If the promotion is not limited in time, set 0.
Priority. Set the priority of the promotion, which will determine its place in the list of all promotions in the Control Panel. The higher the value, the higher the place in the list.
Maximum amount of compensation. Indicate the amount of the check to be covered by the certificate (currency sign is not required).
Note: If the order amount is less than the certificate face value, the order value after the certificate is applied will be 0.
Orders Workflow tab.
Minimum amount of order Set the minimum amount for the order to qualify for a voucher. Thereafter, customers will be able to use a promo code if their cart total is equal to or exceeds the limit that you set. If the voucher should be valid for any order, regardless of the amount, enter 0.
Only for the first order.
Active. The certificate will be applied only to the customer's first order.
Order type. Select the order type on which the promotion will be available.
Order receiving type. Select the order receiving type in which this promotion will be valid. For other order types promotion will not be valid.
Work Time tab.
Schedule for taking orders. Select the days of the week and the time when the gift voucher will be valid. If there are no restrictions, select the Promotion is valid any day at any time checkbox**.
Standard time - The schedule for taking orders activates the company every day.
Specific - An individual schedule allows you to more flexible adjust the activity of the company for each day of the week.
Important:** City promotions can only be applied by using a promo code. To create a promo code, in the Control Panel, select the Marketing tab in the navigation menu and go to Promo codes > Create a promo code.
Important: Gift voucher only applies to the order amount and doesn’t apply to the delivery fee.
