# About the functionality:

A customer of the venue can add their cashback card to their smartphone wallet — Apple Wallet on iPhone or Google Wallet on Android. The card displays: cashback balance, customer name, phone number, QR or barcode for scanning at the cash register, as well as loyalty level (if customer groups are configured in the account). The balance on the card is updated automatically after each cashback change.

| Additionally, the card can send geo-notifications: when a customer is near one of the selected venue addresses, a reminder with the card appears on the lock screen.

Important notes:

1. The feature is available only to accounts whose subscription plan has the Digital Wallet option enabled. Without it, the section is not displayed in the admin panel, and the buttons do not appear on the website.
2. The «Add to Apple Wallet» button is shown only in Safari on Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac). The «Add to Google Wallet» button is shown on Android and in other browsers. This is normal behavior, not an error.
3. The balance currency on the card corresponds to the account currency.

After configuring the functionality, the «Add to Apple Wallet» or «Add to Google Wallet» button appears on the venue's cashback page (depending on the customer's device). The buttons are also available in the loyalty card with the QR code.

* iPhone (Safari): pressing the button downloads the pass, the customer confirms «Add» — the card is added to the wallet.
* Android: pressing the button opens a Google page with the «Save to Google Wallet» button.
After adding, the button disappears from the website — the card has already been added.
After each cashback accrual or deduction, the card updates automatically within a few minutes.

||| Important! All design fields — override the main settings for customers in this group.
| Note! If nothing is filled in for the group — the main account design is used.

# Use cases

1. Example 1. Coffee shop with levels: Bronze/Silver/Gold groups with different cashback percentages. Each group has its own card color and level name. The customer sees their level directly in the wallet, and after moving to a new group, the card automatically changes its appearance.
2. Example 2. Geo-reminder: the venue adds 5 of its addresses to Locations with the text «{{userName}}, we are nearby! Come visit us». When the customer walks by, the phone displays the card with this text.

# Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Question: The customer does not see the Apple Wallet button. What should be checked?

* Device and browser: the button is shown only in Safari on Apple devices.
* Whether the card has already been added — in this case, the button disappears.
* Whether the card is enabled in the General tab and whether the Digital Wallet option is included in the account plan.

2. Question: There is no Apple Wallet button on Android — is this an error?
No. On Android, only Google Wallet is displayed; on Apple devices in Safari — only Apple Wallet.
3. Question: The Google card has a «Test only» label. Why?
The Google publisher account is still in demo mode — cards are visible only to test users. You need to complete the business profile and obtain publishing access in the Google Console (contact the technical team).
4. Question: The balance on the card has not been updated.

* The update arrives within a few minutes after the balance changes; the phone must be connected to the network.
* Check in the Registrations tab that the customer's card is active.
* If the customer deleted and added the card again — updates will resume automatically.

5. Question: The customer deleted the card. Can it be added again?
Yes. The button will appear on the website again, and the card can be added again without restrictions.
6. Question: Does the card work without internet?
Yes, the last saved state and scanning code are displayed. The balance will be updated when a network connection is available.
7. Question: What currency is the balance on the card displayed in?
