# What is the difference between the Average time for orders in the kitchen and the Average time for receiving and preparing orders?

1.  **The average order acceptance time** is the time from the moment an order is distributed to its acceptance by the company.
    
2.  **Average order preparation time** -  the time from the moment the restaurant receives the order to the moment the order is dispatched to the courier (only for orders for as soon as possible).
