The Facebook SDKs allow you to pass data about events in your app to the Meta for Developers service. With this data, you can accurately track the actions that users do in your app.


Adding an App ID is possible when creating an app, or upon its updating.

Setup process

Log into your Meta for Developers account and click Create App.




In the pop-up window, select Business and click Continue.



Enter the name of your app, email address for notifications, and select the Business Manager account. After that, click Create App.



In the App Dashboard, go to Settings > Basic.



Contact Dots Platform support to add the required App ID when updating the app.



Next, click Add a platform.



Select the desired option (iOS or Android).

When selecting iOS, a new block for entering the app data will appear. In the Bundle ID field, type Bundle ID. In the iPhone Store ID field, type Iphone store.




When selecting Android, a new block for entering the app data will appear. In the Google Play Package Name field, type package name android. In the Class Name field, type Classname. Contact the support team to get this data.


Click Save.

Then you need to provide the Dots Platform support team with the following data to update your application:

Application ID received in Meta after registration.
The name of the application, as specified in the Meta cabinet
Application token in Meta.

The token is located in the Meta account, the Additional section and at the bottom of the page in the Security = Client Token section
