2.0 Operating modes of the courier fleet
For flexible configuration of the courier fleet, the system has two operating modes: without virtual account and with a virtual account.
The first mode is suitable when using your own courier fleet.
The virtual account mode is suitable when using a third-party courier fleet that can work with several companies.

No virtual account mode
Mode with virtual account
Select a city from the navigation menu.
Click Delivery fleets.
Locate the delivery fleet you need and click the pencil icon, or click Add a delivery fleet to add a new one.
Go to the General tab.
In the Type of interaction with couriers field, select the desired mode.
Click Save.

No virtual account. Dots Delivery app shows only the information necessary for the delivery of an order. In addition, there’s no calculation of money earned by a courier.
With virtual account. Involves using a virtual courier account and showing additional financial information in courier reports in the Monitoring Panel , Dots Delivery, and Dots Business apps.
After accepting the order in the order card, the courier sees basic information about the company location and the delivery address. Courier also sees the amount that he must receive from the customer and special notes.

Used in cases where companies pay for the acceptance/processing and delivery of each order to the courier directly or to the delivery company that manages their work. At the same time, the delivery company ensures and monitors orders in the system. Couriers get a reward for each completed order.
The courier is a freelance entity and receives payment for each order as soon as it is delivered.
Upon picking up the order at the location, the courier pays its cost. At the last stage of delivery, the courier receives the same amount from the customer plus delivery costs.
Courier has a virtual account. The manager of the courier fleet reimburses the funds that are credited to it. A refund occurs if the order was paid in whole or in part online, with cashback, a city gift voucher, or if the delivery was paid for by a city promotion.
At the end of the reporting period, the delivery fleet manager pays off couriers that have a positive balance on their virtual account.
