# How does order distribution work?


"The distribution of orders is influenced by many factors. The situation on the roads is checked through the cartographic service, the nearest address of the company to the client is calculated, the optimal route and the courier most suitable for fulfilling the order, an operator is appointed. 

As for couriers, their work can also be coordinated manually. For this, companies usually have a separate role - a logistician. Logisticians fully control the work of couriers and act according to the situation.
