# 2.0 How to delete promotions?



Promotions can be made inactive by changing their status to Off. At the same time, the complete removal of promotions from the system is not provided for by the functionality of the platform, since this information is used by the Archive.

Still, it's worth noting that for convenience, outdated promotions can be set to priority = 0, which will place them at the bottom of the list of all promotions ever created.
