# 2.0 Control Panel. Cities. Marketing. Promo codes. Generator. Randomly

Use the **Generator** tab to randomly generate promo codes for a specific promo campaign. In addition, you can restrict the use of a promo code to a specific user or user group.


### To automatically generate promo codes:
1.  Select **Marketing** in the Control Panel.    
2.  Click **Promo codes**.    
3.  Locate the campaign you need and click the pencil icon.    
4.  Go to the **Generator** > **Randomly**.    
5.  In the **Number of codes** field, specify the number of desired promo codes.    
6.  If required, use the **User phone number** and the **User group** fields to limit the use of a promo code.    
7.  Click **Save**.

**Note**: Customers are able to enter and apply a promo code regardless of the selected register.

**Important**: After creating, we recommend that you check the promo code yourself before using it.
